Dr. Aby Koshy is a gynaecologist by training, specialising in the treatment of infertile couples. He is a Consultant in Reproductive Medicine and Surgery at Sunrise Assisted Reproduction Centre, Sunrise Hospital, Cochin.
Dr. Aby Koshy graduated from Government Medical College, Kottayam and completed his residency in Obstetrics & Gynaecology at Armed Forces Medical College, Pune. He is a University of Pune Gold Medallist. He has been awarded the Diplomate of National Board (DNB) title and passed his Membership examinations of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (MRCOG) of the United Kingdom. He was elevated to the RCOG Fellowship in 2021. Dr. Koshy completed advanced training in Reproductive Medicine at Homerton University Hospital, London, United Kingdom.
He has worked as an IVF specialist in three different hospitals in India and overseas. He has published papers in peer reviewed international journals and medical books. At last count, his research papers have been cited by 376 scientific publications.
He is a Guest editor of the European Journal of Obstetrics & Gynecology and Reproductive Biology (EJOGRB) – South Asia for 2025 and also a member of the National Advisory Board of the Journal of Human Reproductive Sciences (JHRS) – the official journal of the Indian Society of Assisted Reproduction (ISAR).
